In Palermo, on October 10-13, the fourth round of the Italian Grand Events Championship was held. More 230 crews started the rally, including president of the Automobile Club of Italy Angelo Sticchi Damiani.
Francesco Di Pietra/Giuseppe Di Pietra on the 1938 Fiat 508C won in Palermo. Giovanni Moceri/Valeria Dicembre (1937 Lancia Aprilia) finished the second place. The top three was closed by Angelo Accardo/Filippo Becchina (1938 Fiat 508 C).
