On February 22, Pereslavl-Zalessky will host the Yolkiklassik winter rally for the second time. At 11 a.m. local time after breakfast on the northern outskirts of the city, the participants will go to Lake Pleshcheevo, located in the south-west of the Yaroslavl Region, to the foot of the Alexandrovskaya Mountain. Then the participants will go on an exciting 50-kilometer journey to the village of Zhuleevo and back.
Cars of category «B» produced both in Soviet Union and abroad before 1991 inclusive, are eligible for the event. To take part in the rally, in addition to the desire and a car that meets the criteria above, you must have a shovel, a tow rope and reflective vests.
Unlike during other rallies, Yolklassik participants will not be divided into classes and groups. Each participant before the start selects preferable speed on the track («low and high pace»). During regularity races, for every second ahead or behind the projected time, participants will be given penalty points. Several special regularity stages will be held according to the rules of Rallye Monte Carlo Historique canceled this year. The crossing of the finish line by a participant after each zone of regular will be marked by a wave of the flag.
For each race, the crew is awarded points depending on the ranking, which will be accumulated in the end. Judges’ points for controlling the pace of movement of crews along the track can be located anywhere.
