To celebrate the double anniversary, HK-Engineering invited all friends and 300 SL fans to the Nürburgring.
At Germany’s largest classic car event, HK-Engineering showcased the two historic race transporters and set up a tent for catering as well as two simulators from Roarington. Two 300 SL vehicles participated in the one-hour races on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, including the SLS Special by Dr. Klaus Lehr. Fans were given the opportunity to drive their own vehicles into the paddock and display them there. Additionally, we had the chance to drive our 300 SLs on the Nordschleife without any hindrance on both days.
On Friday evening, MERBAG invited us to a barbecue at the headquarters of Haupt Racing Team GmbH in the nearby industrial area. Around 50 fans accepted the invitation and enjoyed themselves with excellent weather and two exciting races.
On Sunday, the Kleissl/Pfessdorf team even managed to secure first place in their class. We received many compliments for our impressive appearance and the excellent organization.
Once again, HK-Engineering has proudly upheld the star at one of the most significant international events in the classic car scene for Mercedes.
