The organizers have confirmed the dates of the anniversary retro-rally Gran Premio Nuvolari. This year the event will be held from September 17 to 20. Eligible are cars manufactured in the period from 1919 to 1976. It is worth noting that there will be the “Nuvolari Coefficient” which will depend on the year of the vehicle’s build and will be calculated according to the formula «(1+ year of manufacture of the car) / 100», which will help define fines received by the duos during the rally.
It also needs to be mentioned about the «GPN Green» initiative, thanks to which Mantova Corse will implement a conscious approach to environmental protection, which will result in planting of tall trees in different parts of the city to control carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.
A special partner of the event during this difficult time for the whole planet will be Red Bull, appearing in the new colors of the Formula 1 team «Alpha Tauri» (formerly: «Toro Rosso» — editor’s note). The financial partner of the 30th Gran Premio Nuvolari will be Finservice.
We add that the registration will last until July 31, after which complete entry list will be published. The defending champion is Mario Passantante, who performed in 2019 in a duet with Rafa De Alessandrini on a 1937 Fiat 508 C. Giovanni Mocheri, well-known to our readers, along with Himara Bottini as well as Andrea Vesco, whose co-pilot was Manuela Tangetti, also appeared on the podium.
