In 2021, 12 events will be held — nine qualifying stages of the RAF Cup, two candidate stages and one club event with sports elements, the Touring Assembly Jaguar Classic Open, organized in association with Jaguar-Club Russia. All events are divided into three groups of three events each.
In the coming season, the final result will be taken into account as one of the best results from each group. Thus, the participants have three attempts in each group. The same practice will be applied to the team competition.
In the individual rankings the bonus system remains, but it is canceled in the team competition. Depending on the year of production of the vehicle, the crew shall receive from 1 to 9 extra points to the result.
To participate in the competition, as in the previous year, an E or E–y license for boys is required. A co-pilot can now be a person who has reached the age of 12 years.
In the season of 2021, a new category will appear as a nomination — «family ranking». The results of the crews where the pilot and co-pilot are the closest relatives will be taken into account here. From 2022, the classification will receive official status in the same way as the individual, team and women’s classification.
After conducting a survey among the participants of the competition, it was decided to develop the Grand Tour Pro and Grand Tour Light.
