The anniversary edition of Palm Beach Cavallino Classic took place in Florida

The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic celebrated its anniversary in Florida. More than 100 Ferrari cars were presented at the event, including the car of Michael Schumacher — Ferrari F2001b.

During the event, judges from Europe and the USA had to name the winners in thirteen nominations:

Twelve Cylinder Cup (Ferrari with 12-cylinder engine): 1952 Ferrari 342 America Cabriolet Vignale

Eight Cylinder Cup (Ferrari V8): 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS

Six Cylinder Cup (Ferrari with 6 Cylinder): 1979 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

Preservation Vintage Cup (until 1975): 1974 Ferrari 365 GT / 4 BB

Preservation Classic Cup (1976-1990): 1990 Ferrari F40 and 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS

330 GTC/GTS Cup: 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS

The Flat 12 Cup: 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi

Elegance Cup named after Robert Tallgren (best Ferrari car): 1959 Ferrari 410 Superamerica Coup? Pinin Farina and 1952 Ferrari 342 America Cabriolet Vignale

Wayne Obry Commemoration Cup (Best Reconditioned Vehicle): 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4

The Ferrari Spirit Cup (awarded to the owner who best conveys the spirit of track and Concours): 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Cabriolet Pinin Farina

Ferrari Supercar Cup (for the best 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo or FXX): 1992 Ferrari F40

The Honorary Judges’ Cup (for the best car, chosen by honorary judges): 1952 Ferrari 410 Superamerica Coup? Pinin Farina

The Chief Judge Emeritus Cup (for the best car, chosen by Honorary Chief Judge Ed Gilbertson): 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO

The winners in two major categories were announced by Cavallino Classic founder John Barnes and Canossa Events CEO Luigi Orlandini. In the Scuderia Ferrari Cup the award was won by a 1957 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour de France. The Gran Turismo Cup went to the owner of a 1952 Ferrari 212 Inter Cabriolet.

Also, the organizers of the Cavalino Classic delighted their fans by announcing plans to hold new events.

First, July 2-4, an invitation-based event will be held in Modena and dedicated to the founder of Ferrari — Enzo Ferrari, who was born on February 18, 1898 in this city.

It was also announced that Cavalino will be held in Dubai in December this year. As part of the event, participants will be able to visit the world exhibition «Expo 2020», postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic to 2021 (world exhibitions are held every 5 years and their duration is 6 months, ed.), Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at the Formula 1 Jeddah circuit.
