In Bicester, on July 17, another Bonhams auction was held, at which 115 cars were presented, 71% of which found new owners.

According to the results of the auction, the Aston Martin DB6 of 1966 and the Porsche 911 Turbo S of 2017 are on the first two lines.

Despite its age and more modest performance compared to the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the Autumn Golden Aston Martin sold for ? 118,125. At the same time, the 2017 Porsche barely surpassed the ? 105,000 mark (105,750).

Rounding out the top three this time around, the 2018 Bentley Bentayga, often hailed as the first true luxury SUV thanks to its impressive performance and hand-built at the Crewe plant, sold for ? 100,125.

Among the cars sold, it is also worth highlighting: De Dion Bouton (1912), Citro?n 2CV (1990), Jaguar E-Type Series 1 (1961), Rolls-Royce 20HP (1923).

De Dion Bouton, powered by a 1,642cc four-cylinder and three-speed gearbox, went under the hammer for ? 20,250.

For one of the most recognizable cars in the world and one of the most successful models in the French car industry, the Citro?n 2CV, the new owner paid ? 20,812.

Against the backdrop of the well-preserved De Dion Bouton and Citro?n 2CV, the Jaguar E-Type Series 1’s exterior was questionable, including rust on the wheel arches and wheel arche and rear window surround. But according to Bonhams specialists, the car is in good condition and ready for a full-scale restoration.

In turn, a Rolls-Royce 20HP, almost 40 years older than Jaguar, after restoration, which includes a complete replacement of the wiring, as well as a complete rewiring, renewed landaulette hood, was sold for 39 thousand pounds sterling.
