December 1-8, RM Sotheby’s held the final auction of the current year. Top sales of online bidding were led by a 2015 Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Brabus 900, which went under the hammer for 300,000 Swiss francs.
A 1989 Porsche 911 Turbo convertible was in second place with a slight lag. The car covered 4,500 miles went to the new owner for $269,500. It is worth noting that the car had had only one owner ever since the moment of its production.
The cult bus manufactured by Volkswagen closed the top three — 1962 Volkswagen Type 2 Deluxe «23 Windows» painted in Sealing Wax Red and Silver Beige. The legendary bus was sold for $159,500.
Ranked fourth and fifth, according to the results of the auction, were a 1966 Porsche 911 and a 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB which cost the buyers 139 thousand euros and 154 thousand US dollars, respectively.
