RM Sotheby’s Carrera Collection: revenue of $15 million

RM Sotheby’s auction house held auctions in Switzerland and Italy, where 80 lots were put up. Total sales reached 15 million euros.

The most expensive lot at auction in Switzerland was a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring. One of the 1,308 copies made in the M472 road configuration went under the hammer for 483,125 Swiss francs.

The second and third places at the auction were taken by Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 2008, whose mileage was less than 11 thousand km (466,250 Swiss francs) and Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Touring 1973, made in the color Bahia Red – 421,250 Swiss francs.

In Italy, the first line at the end of the auction was shared by the 2010 Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the 1959 Porsche 911 Turbo S, sold for 421,250 euros.

In third place is a Porsche 356 A Carrera 1600 GT Coupe produced by Reutter in 1959, which took part in the Italian climbing competitions Pontedecimo-Giovi and Aosta-Pila. The new owner paid 353,750 euros for the car.
