The organizers of Sorrento Roads (4- 7 April) announced the start of accepting applications for the race.
Maximum of 40 cars will be accepted: in a mix of modern and historic cars, priority will be given to those produced up to and including 1990.
The centre and beating heart of the event is the town of Sorrento, site of the technical and administrative checks on Thursday 4 April and the start on Friday 5. The competitors will be presented with the spectacular views of Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, Positano, the Amalfi Coast, Amalfi and Maiori, before descending to Paestum, with a stop for lunch and a visit to the precious Archaeological Park. In the afternoon, the return route will arrive in Salerno, circumnavigating the Valle delle Ferriere State Reserve to then ascend to the Pompeii area and descend again towards Castellammare di Stabia before ending in Sorrento.
On Saturday 6, the cars will be exhibited between Villa Fiorentino and Piazza Andrea Veniero in Sorrento, to be assessed by a Popular Jury, while the crews will embark on a journey to Capri to discover the area, traditions and unique specialities.
The third edition of the Trofeo Citta di Sorrento, an exciting 1 vs 1 knockout challenge in the town centre, will close the sporting activity and decide the final classification.
