Today, on June 8, the official website of «Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti» revealed the programme of the retro-rally of 2020 which is scheduled for July 24-26.

AC Belluno and ACI Sport are keeping to do whatever it takes to hold the event this very year, on the previously planned dates. If their efforts work out it will mean a great breakthrough from the point of view of retro-events calendar of 2020 and the participating equipages will be able to fight for the first award in a pretty long time and make a journey through one of Italy’s most picturesque regions, included into the UNESCO Heritage list.

The programme includes scrutineering (July 23) followed by the first leg which will start the next morning, on July 24, and go towards Belluno and Feltre past Passo Giau and Forcella Staulanza. Then there will be a stop for lunch in Pedavena that will serve as the start of the second part of the day which end up in Cortina d’Ampezzo after the participants make their way past Falzarego Pass and Agordo.

On Saturday, July 25, another lap will be formed by moving along Passo Tre Croce, Alto Adore, Comelico, Alta Pusteria and Valparola Pass back tp Cortina with a lunch break in Passo Montecroce Comelico.

On the final day of Sunday the duos will have a chance to take a «non-competition» trip around Cortina which will be followed by the award ceremony of the winners of 2020 «Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti». It should be added that the defending champions are Antonio Margiotto and Valentina La Chiana who were onboard of Volvo PV444. The winner of 2019 «Mille Miglia», Giovanni Moceri, accompanied by his co-pilot and spouse Valeria Dicembre, came third last year.
