Everyman Classics is to go online for Classic Car Auction

The conditions that situation around the spread of coronavirus pandemic in 2020 puts us in, force many auction houses to conduct their bids on the online platform. Everyman Classics which is hosting a Classic Car Auctions on June 27 does not seem to be an exception. The auction will be the 25th in the history of the house.

In total, 127 lots will be put up for auction. The cars presented in the collection come from completely different eras. Thus, a 1950 Austin A40 Tourer is considered to be the “oldest” one, while a 2015 AK Sportscars 427 Cobra is the model closest to modern times. As for the main component of the auction, namely, the cost of cars, there are also copies for any wallet size.

The cheapest for Everyman Classics (only ?5,000) will be a 2002 Jaguar XKR 4.2 Convertible, a 1990 Ford Sierra XR Mk II and a 1963 Ford Zodiac Mk III Automatic. The highest estimated cost (?80,000) has a 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 Roadster. The top 5 most expensive lots of the auction also include 1960 Lotus Elite (Type 14) Series 1 (?60,000), two Ferrari 360 F1 Spider of 2001 and 2004 (?55,000 and ?48,000 respectively), as well as a 1976 Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 (?50,000). There also will be 14 lots marked as «Offered without reserve».

The start of the bids is scheduled for noon British time but the organizers offer to look at the lots with their own eyes in the exhibition center. To do this, potential buyers should visit the exhibition site of Everyman Classics — The Forge Harwoods House in Warwickshire, of course, in compliance with all necessary safety measures. The time of the visit is limited, though – no more than 1 hour.
