On Saturday, another auction from the Classic Car Auctions series took place, which was already the 25th in the history of the Everyman Classics trading house. At the auction, 127 lots were put up, which were cars of 1950-2018, 87% of which found their new owners.

Before the bids, the highest estimated cost was announced for the Jaguar E-Type Series 3 (?80,000), it also ultimately topped the list of the most expensive cars at the auction. Its final price was ?79,200. We should remind that also among highly appreciated items were 1960 Lotus Elite (Type 14) Series 1 (?60,000), two Ferrari 360 F1 Spider models of 2001 and 2004 (?55,000 and ?48,000 respectively) and the 1976 Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 (?50,000). But in the end, only half of the above list was awarded to be in the TOP sales — 2001 Ferrari 360 F1 Spider (final cost — ?51,150) and Lotus Elite (Type 14) Series 1 (sold for ?51,700).

As for the leaders of the past bids, the top five most expensive lots besides Jaguar, Ferrari 2004 and Ford turned out to be two more representatives of the British automobile industry — a 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Roadster, sold for 57,200 pounds and 1958 Jaguar 3.4 XK 150 FHC issue, which brought the organizers of the auction 50,600 pounds.

The cheapest lots as a result of Saturday’s online bidding were the 1966 Swedish Volvo 121 B18 Amazon, given away for 2,310 pounds, and BMW 330ci (E46) M Sport Convertible, the final cost of which was 2,420 pounds. In total, over the past weekend, cars went under the hammer for a total of almost 2 million 400 thousand in Her Majesty’s currency.

The next event from Everyman Classics is scheduled for fall. September Classic Car Sale, as the name suggests, will be held in September, 19th and 20th, to be exact. The list of lots is currently empty, but any car owner who wants to sell it at auction can take part in its formation. To do this, you need to contact the organizers of the auction through the form on the official website of Classic Car Auctions by clicking on the «Submit An Entry» button.
