The RAF Classic Cars Committee has published a draft calendar for the 2021 season.
The new season will consist of 12 competitions — stages of the RAF Cup, candidate stages, as well as the Touring Assembly Jaguar Classic Open, organized jointly with Jaguar-Club Russia. The stages of the RAF Cup are divided into three groups («A», «B» and «C»), in each of which three events are planned.
Group «A» will be comprised of the rally «On Seven Hills» (23.05., Moscow), «Moscow-Murom» (01-03.07., Moscow — Murom) and «Rally Capital» / «Stolitsa» (26.09., Moscow).
In group «B» the following competitions will be held: «Petersburg» (05.06., St. Petersburg), «Cup of the Urals» (19.06., Yekaterinburg) and «Zhiguli» (17.07., Togliatti).
Rally «The Tula Freeway» / «Avtostrada-Tula» (11.06., Tula), «Kaluga (21 (28) .08., Kaluga) and «Smolensk» (11.09., Smolensk) have made up group»C».
Pskov (31.07) and Rostov-on-Don (02.10) will host the candidate stages this year.
It is also worth noting that the rally «Moscow — Murom» and the rally «Smolensk» will become qualifying stages for the FIA ??Historical Rally Regularity Trophy.
The scoring system this season will be built in such a way that only 3 best results will be taken into account — one from each group. However, crews will be able to take part in any number of stages included in the RAF Cup.
