Alberto and Giuseppe Scapolo Triumph at the 2021 San Marino Revival

On May 29, the sixth stage of the Italian Regularity Rally Championship came to an end in San Marino. All in all, 48 crews out of 60 registered took part in the rally. The total length of the route was 180 km.

Despite all the efforts of the organizers, there were data transmission failures during the race and the official results were published almost two days after the finish — on May 31 at 10:30 local time. The victory in the main standings with an advantage of 11.28 points was obtained by duo number 4 — Alberto and Giuseppe Scapolo onboard a 1937 Fiat 508c. Second were ranked Armando Fontana / Silvia Grossi behind the wheel of a 1972 A112 Abarth 58 PH. The top three was shaped up by Francesco and Giuseppe di Pietro driving a 1958 Fiat 600.

The duos of Fabio and Marco Salvinelli and Andrea Malucelli / Giampaolo Limoni Scaglia qualified in the fourth and fifth lines of the final protocols of the rally, respectively.

The best team in the rally was Nettuno Bolognia consisting of Fontana / Grossi, Scapolo / Scapolo, Rapisardi / Piga.

Federica Bignetti-Bignetti / Luisa Ciatti in a 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta was the best in the female equipages standings.
