At the beginning of each month we publish a digest of events, but in June we decided to split it into two parts.
Peter Auto invites you to visit the oldest event in France for vintage cars on the Dijon-Prenois circuit — «Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or» (4-6 June). Several hundreds of GT cars, sports cars, prototypes and Touring cars from 1950 to 2000 will take part in the event. It should be noted that the races will be held with spectators. Every day 1,000 visitors will be admitted to the seats.
On the same dates, but at Telford, Hero Events will host Summer Trial. The event, designed primarily for beginners in the world of retro, allows not only to get acquainted with the rules of retro-rally, but also to communicate with like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.
On June 5, Silverstone Auction will hold a one-day auction dedicated to Ferrari. Among the lots on offer we can highlight a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB / 4 Daytona, owned from 1973 to 1975 by Sir Elton John, as well as a 2006 Ferrari simulator from the times of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.
On June 6, the RAF Retro-Rally Cup starts. The first event of the season will be the «Seven Hills Rally». To participate in the race, serial category «B» vehicles manufactured up to 31.12.1990 inclusive and corresponding to the RAF Cup Regulations are eligible. The total length of the route will be about 100 km.
On June 8-10, London will host the London Elegance Concours, which will feature 80 rare cars. Enjoy two gorgeous days on perfect English lawns, chalets stocked by global brands and local artisans, and a fine selection of drinks and food set against the backdrop of cars from the past. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
Rally the Globe invites you to the Nidderdale Conservation Area, 25 miles from its headquarters. Participants will have small tests and short regularity sections. In short, it is the perfect balance between competition and outdoor recreation.
June 11-13 Canossa Events invites retro-cars owners to take part in “Stella Alpina Storica” in the heart of the Dolomites. To participate in the event, as in previous years, both retro-cars and modern samples of the global automotive industry are very welcome.
