The One-day rally «Circuito della Fascia d’Oro» was organised with the support of the «Mille Miglia» club «Franco Mazzotti» in Brescia on June 4. The race were attended by 52 crews, including winners and awardees of «Mille Miglia» previous years: Sergio Sisti / Anna Gualandi, Andrea Belometti / Gianluca Bergomi, Andrea Vesco / Fabio Salvinelli, as well as Lorenzo and Mario Turelli witch won Grand Premio Nuvolari.
Unlike other retro rallу participants of the «Circuito della Fascia d’Oro» were divided into two classifications: Main and Top-pilots. Argentinian crew Daniel Jerehomovich/Lorenzo Tonielli driving Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 SS took first place in Main standing. Current winners of «Mille Miglia» Andrea Vesco/Fabio Salvinelli become best in Top-pilots classifications. They raced in Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 SS Zagato.
«We have done the Fascia d’Oro as training for the upcoming Mille Miglia and it was a good test for both the crew and the car.The result was good and we are ready for the race now. Saturday’s race as I said was a good test eventough it was not so long (66 km) and with 25 precision time trials only, but better than nothing», — said Vesco after the victory
