Elegance Contest took place at the ground of the Court Palace in September, 2-4. Sixty cars took part in the event, many of which had not taken part in an event within the UK.
The best car after the voting became Delage D8-120 S ‘de Villars’ (1938) submitted for the contest The by Peal Collection. The contest winner has got a silver Pegasus created by Robert Rattray , from the hands of Prince Michael of Kent.
The winners were also selected in six categories: 1930 — Cord L-29 Brougham, 1950 – 1960 – Alfa Romeo A6G Zagato, 1960 — Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, 1970 — Lamborghini Miura SV Coupe, Future Classics — Bugatti EB110 SS RHD, the best Ferrari – Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale ’Tre Posti’ Coupe.
