And the next 100 miles was no exception, this year Belometti went to the start with a new navigator – Gianluca Bergomi and didn`t lose. For the first time in his career, Andrea Belometti rose to the prize podium, losing to the Lancia Lambda Spider Casaro of 1929. On the second step of the podium, losing only to the three-time winner of the «Mille Miglia» Andrea Vesco.
«This Mille Miglia was very difficult with super technical and difficult time trials, because many of them took place on dirt and stone roads. Another obstacle this year was the heat, both for drivers and for car engines. I was competitive for all four days and I am very happy with the result. Now I’m starting to study again to improve my result by the next graduation, » Belometti said
