In London on November 5, the Bonhams auction  was held, which featured 18 cars, one motorcycle, auto parts and automotive-related items.

Top sales were led by a 1904 Peugeot Type 67A 10/12hp. The car, carefully restored in 1970, was sold for ? 264,500. Second place according to the results of the auction was taken by the only motorcycle presented at the bids — a 1939 Brough Superior SS100. One of seven motorcycles, which was on guard of order in Sheffield police, was sold for 253 thousand pounds sterling.

One of the most interesting cars presented at the auction took the third place in its results — a 1928 three-liter Bentley Blue Label Tourer.  Its final cost was ? 241,500. The model, presented at 126 motor shows in Olympia in 1919, was an incredible success with representatives of the Royal family. In various periods, a similar model was owned by Prince George, Duke of Kent, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) and Duke of York (later King George VI). A total of 163 cars were produced.

The fourth result was shown by the only surviving Rainier Model D 40 / 50hp Seven-Passenger Touring Car of 1908 — ?167,900. From 2016 to 2021 the car went through a thorough restoration after being acquired by the new owner at Bonhams a year earlier. During many years of refurbishment, missing parts have been replaced or manufactured according to the original specification.

The top five was complete with a 1903 Wolseley 10hp Twin-Cylinder Four-Seat Rear-Entrance Tonneau which took part in 17 London to Brighton rallies. It went under the hammer for 121 thousand pounds sterling.
