The 32nd edition of 1000 Millas Sport has finished in Argentina. 86 crews were on the start list, though, just 66 of them finished in Bariloche.
The winners of the race were duo No. 6 Juan Tonconogy / Barbara Ruffini in a 1936 Riley Sprite. For Juan, this is the seventh career victory and the third for Barbara. Thus, Juan Tonconogy set a new record in rally history (from 2009 to 2013, with a break in 2011, Tonconogy raced with Guillermo Berisso, ed.).
It is worth noting that Juan’s sister Margarita also took part in the race in a duo with Gast?n Zilbergleijt in a 1936 MG SA. The crew finished the race in 59th position.
The 2019 winners Alejandro Lopez / Gabriel Gourovich finished second, 12.7 points back.
The bronze medalists were the crew of three-time 1000 Millas Sport winner Daniel Erejomovich, who this year competed with Gustavo Llanos in the 1938 AC 16/80 Competition Sport.
